The decree-law of 6 August 2021, n. 111 establishes that from 1 September 2021 all university students must hold COVID-19 green certificate (EU digital COVID certificate). It will be necessary to be able to access the University premises for any kind of activity.

In order to attend lessons, students must submit their attendance preference (see tutorial) then confirm their participation through CINECA attendance survey app.

The University of Pavia encourages students to attend lectures in person, in compliance with prevention measures, therefore classes in the academic year 2021/2022 will be offered in presence.

To guarantee students a high quality teaching, as well as, the opportunity to easily access studying material, all classes will be recorded and uploaded on the student’s portal.

The recordings will be available for 15 days after the lesson has taken place.Only in case it will be necessary to create groups of students who alternately attend classes in presence, lectures will be in live streaming, as well as recorded.

In this way, every student, with a special regard to international students, disabled students, athletes, working students, students with children and fragile students, will be able to take advantage of the online teaching during possible Covid-19 emergency periods if unable to attend in person.

In order to protect students from the risk of Covid-19 infection, the University’s Residences have implemented a series of measures:

  • Upon arrival students must fill in a self-certification -with assumption of responsibility- attesting their state of health; they will also be measured body temperature to verify that it does not exceed 37,5°.
  • In case of quarantine, students will be accommodated in dedicated rooms and will be provided with assistance in handling domestic needs.
  • The accommodations are sanitized at the check-out of each student.
  • Students will be given a handbook with safety rules to follow, with particular regard to the common areas.
  • Specific signs and hand sanitizers will be available in several areas of the buildings.

To enter libraries, both for consultation and for study, it is necessary to reserve a seat via the app “Affluences” and to sign the appropriate self-certification form.

For what concerns the study room service, students will be required to sign the register of attendance in the study room.

112 is the Emergency Number you can dial free of charge from fixed and mobile phones everywhere in the EU. It will get you straight through to the emergency services – Police, Ambulance, Fire brigade.
