University of Pavia ranks in the top 200 of QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023

The QS World University Rankings by Subject are compiled annually to help prospective students identify the leading Universities in a particular subject.

They are based on five indicators: Academic Reputation, which concerns the reputation of Universities in the academic world; Citations per Paper, i.e. the scientific impact of the research produced by Universities in various sectors; Employer Reputation, i.e. employers’ assessments of the preparation of graduates who are hired; H-index, an indicator that evaluates both the scientific impact obtained and the quantity of research products; Irn International Research Network, a measure of efficiency in establishing research relationships at an international level.

The QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023 cover a total of 54 disciplines, grouped into 5 broad subject areas.

We are glad to announce that the University of Pavia is among the top 200 Universities in the world for Civil Engineering and Linguistics; among the top 250 for Medicine; among the top 350 for Chemistry.
